The Huntington Library, Art Collection, and Botanical Gardens

This is Southern California's little bit of Europe.
  • Beautiful, lush gardens
  • Art galleries
  • Statues filling the gardens
  • Buildings similar to the exterior of Versailles
  • A library with originals of the Canterbury Tales and the Gutenberg Bible
  • There are first editions of Milton, Byron, Coleridge, and Robert Burns

I LOVE the Huntington. My friend and I spent HOURS there when their "stinky" flower was blooming... and we left our husbands at a sub-zero temperature beach for like... ever.
