"You are called to represent the Savior. Your voice to testify becomes the same as His voice, your hands to lift the same as His hands. His work is to bless His Father's spirit children with the opportunity to choose eternal life. So, your calling is to bless lives." - President Henry B. Eyring
I've wanted to serve an LDS mission for a while. About a year and a half ago I had the privilege of taking Professor Randy Bott's Missionary Preparation class at university and I really grew fond of the idea of serving the Lord for an 18 month period.
But to be honest, I always wanted to finish school first...
BUT, I happen to be graduating in August!
So, I have filled out all of my paperwork and have had my dentist and doctor's appointments. After I meet with my Stake President (within the next week and a half) he will officially submit my papers and it will be a matter of days before I receive my mission assignment.
I AM SO HAPPY & EXCITED!
